Working with sculptor Harry Gray, AATi Foundry cast stacked-book forms in Gunmetal for the forecourt of Cambridge University Library.
The team designed and fabricated a bearing system so sections of the heavy stacks could rotate to the designer’s requirements. The project demonstrates a willingness to go beyond normal casting requirements, supporting a fully finished and working product.
