Trafalgar

A limited-edition bronze sculpture realised from an artist’s print.

Case study / 06

The project

AATi Foundry worked with Wishbone Publishing Ltd to turn an artist’s print into a bronze sculpture. Trafalgar is the first sculpture from British artist JJ Adams and realises the lion from his Nelson’s Column artwork.

Created in Silicon Bronze using the lost-wax technique, the lion, Nelson and three pigeons were cast separately, carefully assembled with a base, then finished with a dark patina. The source describes a sold-out limited edition of 25.

Project details are based on the published case record. The hero artwork is illustrative; original project photographs, where available, appear below.
